The top matchup in Week 10 has to be the New Orleans Saints hosting the Dallas Cowboys, who have given up 400 passing yards four times this season thanks to their ultra-weak pass defense. That makes their Week 10 game with the Saints possibly their most dangerous game of 2013, except Denver. The only way that Dallas can win this game is to stop Drew Brees, who surpassed 4,000 passing yards for seven straight seasons. Another great matchup in Week 10 is the Denver Broncos coming off their BYE week and hitting the West Coast for sunny San Diego to face the Chargers. The Broncos look to catch the 9-0 AFC West leading KC Chiefs who are on their break in Week10. Below is the slate of games scheduled in Week 10 along with picks, previews and NFL Odds.
Thursday, November 07@ 8:25 PM ET
Washington (-1) at Minnesota (O/U-49) PICK: Redskins -1
The Vikings’ season has been lost, and this is a game the Redskins have to win if they hope to return to the playoffs. Look for RG3 to light up Minnesota’s horrid secondary.
Sunday, November 8@1:00 PM ET
Cincinnati (-1) at Baltimore (O/U-44) PICK: Bengals -1
Although the AFC North leaders have earned high praise at times in 2013, they’re still a vulnerable road team, as their 2-3 mark away from home indicates. Keep in mind that both of Cincy’s road wins have come on late field goals. On the other side, only one of Baltimore’s five losses this year has come at home.
Detroit at Chicago (OFF) PICK: Bears
Detroit’s offense had tons of success against Chicago in the first meeting earlier this year. The 40 points scored was a season high for the Lions.
Philadelphia at Green Bay (OFF) PICK: Packers
Like Seattle and New Orleans, Green Bay doesn’t lose at home. The Packers have dominated at Lambeau thus far, winning by 18, 13 and 18 points.
St. Louis at Indianapolis (-9.5) (O/U-44) PICK: Colts -9.5
The Colts are beginning to look like championship contenders in the AFC, while St. Louis hasn’t been able to win without Sam Bradford.
Seattle (-6) at Atlanta (O/U-44) PICK: Seattle -6
Matt Ryan was the only thing Atlanta had to feel good about, but he’s tossed seven interceptions over the past two weeks and looks to be sinking with the ship.
Oakland at N.Y. Giants (-9.5) (O/U-43.5) PICK: Giants -9.5
Offensively, New York should have plenty of opportunities to attack Oakland’s lackluster secondary.
Jacksonville at Tennessee (-13) (O/U-41) PICK: Titans -13
The Titans can be scary if Chris Johnson is getting into the second level. The winless Jaguars are scary for all the wrong reasons.
Buffalo at Pittsburgh (OFF) PICK: Steelers
Pittsburgh has played four of its last five games on the road and is sure to benefit from a home game in Week 10. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s quarterback concerns are too big to ignore.
Sunday, November 10@4:05 PM ET
Carolina at San Francisco (-6.5) (O/U-41.5) PICK: 49ers -6.5
In what’s sure to be a defensive struggle, the Niners have the edge playing at home. San Francisco is coming off a bye and riding a five-game winning streak.
Sunday, November 10@4:25 PM ET
Houston at Arizona (-1) (O/U-41) PICK: Texans +1
Case Keenum lit up the Colts defense in Week 9 and should have similar success against the Cardinals’ 23rd-ranked pass defense.
Denver (-7.5) at San Diego (O/U-56.5) PICK: Broncos -7.5
Denver’s top-ranked passing attack should outlast San Diego’s fourth-ranked unit. The Broncos will be rested coming off a bye.
Sunday, November 10@8:30 PM ET
Dallas at New Orleans (-7.5) (O/U-52.5) PICK: Saints -7.5
The Saints don’t lose at home, and the Cowboys have won just once on the road. It’s only right that Dallas enter the bye a mediocre 5-5.
Monday, November 11@8:40 PM ET
Miami (-3) at Tampa Bay (O/U-40.5) PICK: Bucs +3
Thanks to a hot start, the Miami Dolphins are still in the playoff hunt despite a four-game losing streak. What’s discouraging for Greg Schiano’s squad is the fact the offense scored a season-high 24 points but still couldn’t break through to the win column.
