After starting the season 1-4 SU the Buffalo Bills will be looking to get over the .500 mark for the first time this year as they travel to South Beach to take on the winless Miami Dolphins for an AFC East battle in NFL week 10. Buffalo is currently 4-4 SU but a very profitable 6-2 ATS. Buffalo has won three in a row including last week’s 33-21 victory over Cincinnati as they had to rally in the fourth quarter for the win. Currently Buffalo is only one game behind Cleveland and Jacksonville for the final playoff spot in the AFC. After a revolving door at quarterback Losman might have put it to rest as last week he completed 24-of-34 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. Buffalo also has gotten some good performance out of the RB position in rookie Marshawn Lynch who rushed for a career-high 153 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries last week. Sportsbetting.com has Buffalo listed as a 2 ½ point favorite in Miami.
The Dolphins coming off a bye week are playing their first game since 13-10 loss to the New York Giants in London on October 28. Miami is in the midst of one of their worst seasons in their history as they are winless at 0-8 SU. They have also drained the bankrolls of their backers going 2-4 ATS. Despite being winless, first year coach Cam Cameron is staying with QB Cleo Lemon. Lemon certainly hasn’t instilled confidence in the Miami faithful after replacing Trent Green as he has thrown for three touchdowns, four interceptions and has fumbled twice in four games this season.
Not only are the Dolphins in the midst of one of their worst seasons in history they also don’t have history on their side as they are only 1-5 SU when playing their first home game off a bye week. In addition they are only 7-13 SU & 4-14 ATS in divisional play. The Fish haven’t been a good home underdog either as they are 3-9 ATS over the L5 seasons. By contrast the Bills are 3-1 SU & 4-0 ATS in divisional road games. So is it worth putting your hard earned money on this one?
