Their defense did not fare much better against one of the worst offenses in the league as the Rams, led by running back Steven Jackson's 149 yard effort, had 21 first downs and 362 yards.
Detroit has averaged a paltry 13.5 points per game during their current skid while giving up 29.8 per contest.
Seahawks Breakdown: Seattle fell to 2-5 last week and now sit just one game ahead of St. Louis in the NFC West standings. The Cowboys defeathered the Birds 38-17 in Dallas, handing them their fifth loss in their last six games. Despite a solid effort from quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who completed 22-of-39 for 249 yards and two touchdowns, Seattle's offense was unable to overcome two lost fumbles and a lackluster rushing attack (79 yards). The Cowboys racked up 362 yards and 26 first downs against the Seahawks' defense, and they also went 3-for-3 in the red zone.
Seattle should fare better today against Detroit as they are 2-2 (3-1 against the spread) at home. The Seahawks numbers are much better at Qwest Field where they average 22.8 points and yield just 13 per outing.
