The Bengals (6-2) beat Baltimore 17-7 at home in Week 9 and sit first in the AFC North. QB Carson Palmer made 20 of 33 passes for 224 yards with one TD pass; overall he’s thrown for 1,832 yards with 14 TD passes and seven interceptions for a 89.5 passer rating. RB Cedric Benson had 34 carries for 117 yards with a TD, while WR Laveranues Coles made six catches for 72 yards. WR Andre Caldwell made three catches for 15 yards with a TD. The Bengals defense pulled in two interceptions and had 4.5 sacks on the day. Cincinnati's reborn RB Cedric Benson is enjoying his best season as a pro by far. He is second in the league in rushing and has exploited some of the better run defenses in the league, including Pittsburgh's in Week 3. If he is able to get going, that will help Cincinnati keep Pittsburgh's attacking defense off balance. The Bengals running game is currently ranked ninth and they’ll go up against the Steelers league best rush defense. Their pass game sits ranked 18th that’ll be up against the Steelers 14th ranked pass rush. The Bengals have not beaten the Steelers two consecutive times since 1998 . When Cincinnati has at least 25 rushing attempts in a game under Marvin Lewis, they are 26-1 SU. The Bengals average 22.5ppg and give up 16.9ppg, while they are 3-0 SU on the road where they average 23.7ppg and allow 19.3ppg. They are 5-3 ATS and 4-4 over/under.

The Steelers (6-2) won in Denver 28-10 in Week 9 and now sit second in the AFC North. QB Ben Roethlisberger made 21 of 29 passes for 233 yards with three TD passes and one interception; overall he’s thrown for 2,295 yards with 14 TD passes and seven interceptions for a 104.1 passer rating. RB Rashard Mendenhall had 22 carries for 155 yards, while WR Santonio Holmes made six catches for 93 yards and WR Mike Wallace made four catches for 69 yards with a TD.  WR Hines Ward added two TD’s after catching seven passes. The Steelers defense pulled in three interceptions, one for a TD, but had only one sack on the day. Pittsburgh was without its Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu in the first meeting, in Week 3, between these teams and he was missed. He gives the Steelers a dynamic playmaker at the back end of their defense and he will make life more difficult for Bengals QB Palmer. The Steelers defense is ranked fifth best overall with a 14th ranked pass defense and the best rush defense in the league. Another significant difference for the Steelers since the last time they played the Bengals is RB Rashard Mendenhall's increased role. He has become the club's featured back and since he took over the starting job in Week 4, the Steelers are 5-0 SU. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is undefeated against the AFC North at home (7-0 SU) . When Polamalu has an interception, the Steelers are 16-3. The Steelers average 24.4ppg and give up 17.4ppg, while they are 4-0 SU at home where they average 26.2ppg and allow 17.2ppg. They are 3-5 ATS and 4-4 over/under.
