Baltimore (6-2, 2-2 V) beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20, on the road, in Week 9. QB Joe Flacco, who had come under fire from his teammates for inconsistent play, completed 28 of 47 passes for 300yards with one touchdown. RB Ray Rice had 18 carries for 43 yards, while WR Anquan Boldin made seven catches for 88 yards.

The Ravens ground game is ranked 22nd in the NFL, less than 70 yards on the ground in two of their past three games, suggest that the Ravens are struggling to run the football, but coach John Harbaugh doesn't see it that way. He says his team has run the ball when it has needed to and that the opposition's attention to the ground attack has opened things up for the passing game. The Ravens average just 102 yards per game on the ground, and standout running back Ray Rice (center) has been held under 70 rushing yards in four of his past five games. With guard Ben Grubbs back, Rice and Ricky Williams should find a few more holes. Seattle's run defense has held opponents to 110.4 rushing yards per game, 13th-best in the NFL. However, the Seahawks surrendered 139 rushing yards to Dallas Cowboys rookie DeMarco Murray last week. Seattle also ranks third in the NFL in allowing only 3.43 yards per rushing attempt. Defensive end Red Bryant is an anchor on the Seahawks' line, while David Hawthorne is Seattle's top tackling linebacker. A day after missing practice Thursday, Ravens free safety Ed Reed and outside linebacker Terrell Suggs returned to Friday’s session. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here.

Seattle (2-6, 1-2 H) lost to the Dallas Cowboys 13-23, on the road, in Week 9. QB Tavaris Jackson was 17 of 30 for 221 yards, with three interceptions a week after throwing for the most yards in his career. The Seahawks were hoping to get a boost from having Jackson and Marshawn Lynch start together for the first time since beating the Giants in New York, but they played down to their ranking as the NFL's second-worst offense. Lynch had 23 carries for 135 yards with a touchdown that came with 6:12 left.

Seattle’s defense has the talent at cornerback to slow down the Ravens pass game. CB’s Brandon Browner (6 feet 4, 221 pounds) and Richard Sherman (6-3, 195) have impressed not only in stature, but in production in their first years in Seattle. Baltimore has noticed as well. "Defensively, I can't believe how well the two young corners are playing," said Ravens coach John Harbaugh, referring to Browner and Sherman. "These two guys, they're tall and long and they're probably a pretty good matchup for our guys." Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco looked to the same place when asked what he sees in Seattle's defense. "It's going to be our job to make sure that we stay physical with them and get off them and beat them at the line of scrimmage, so that we can get some separation," he said. What has made Browner and Sherman so effective is their unusual combination of size and strength, which allows them to effectively jam receivers at the line of scrimmage and disrupt the timing of the passing offense.
