NFL Week 10 Predictions 2010How did the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills do in NFL Week 9 action? The Detroit Lions played the New York Jets last week and gave them quite a game. The game went into overtime, tied at 20. The Jets were able to run the ball into field goal territory and win the game just 2:18 into overtime to win the game, 23-20. Matthew Stafford injured his right shoulder in the season opener and was out until last week. He was tackled by a Jets linebacker in the 4th quarter and left the game re-inuring his right shoulder. Stafford finished the day with 20 of 36 for 240 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a rushing score. The Lions were off to a good start in the game. They led for most of the game. They just couldn’t make enough winning plays on either side of the ball to pull out the win.

The Buffalo Bills played the Chicago Bears in Week 9 NFL action. Once again, the Bills came up short, loosing to the Bears 22-19. The Bills are the NFL’s only winless team, (0-8), and are off to their worst start in 26 years. The Bills have now become the fifth winless team since the AFL-NFL merger to loose three consecutive games by three points or less. The other two losses were to Kansas City, 13-10 last weekend, and to the Ravens, 37-34 on October 24th. Both games went into overtime as well.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 31 of 51 for 299 yards and one touchdown to Roscoe Parrish. He also threw two interceptions. An extra point attempt was missed by Rian Lindell during the game. This was the first time Lindell missed an extra point attempt in his 10-year NFL career. This ended his streak of 321, which was the fourth longest in NFL history.

2010 NFL Picks Week 10 on the NFL Point Spreads for the Lions vs Bills game: The Lions are 2-6 for the seasons, and 2-2 at home.  The Bills are 0-8. Will this be the game that the Bills finally get a win? I don’t think so. They will add one more to the loss column. Lions 24, Bills 20.
