Bill Breakdown: Buffalo enters this AFC contest off of its bye, but the Bills had a potential three game win streak snapped 
prior to their respite, getting beat 10-31 at home by the Houston Texans. The loss dropped Buffalo's record to 3-5 overall and preserved their last place position in the AFC East. Earlier this week wide receiver Terrell Owens commented on the team's performance through the first eight games of the season.
"I think with the expectations of the season, myself included by coming here, the bar was raised," Owens said. "And so, we're nowhere near it. And I think that's where the air has kind of been let out a little bit."
Things may get better for the Bills this weekend, though, as they have somehow gone 2-2 on the road while averaging 17.5 points per contest.
Titans Breakdown: Tennessee won its second straight game last weekend, beating the Forty Niners 34-27 at Candlestick Park. Quarterback Vince Young has presided over both the wins, which improved Tennessee's record to 2-6, completing 27-of-42 passes for 297 yards, one touchdown and a pick. The Titans have scored 64 points in the victories while giving up 40.
"Guys feel rejuvenated, guys are happy about what we've done over the last two weeks," center Kevin Mawae said. "We're starting to overcome the penalties and starting to overcome things that don't go our way."
Tennessee is 1-2 at LP Field this season where they won for the first time on November 1st, beating the Jaguars 30-13.
