Cowboys Breakdown: Dallas won its fourth straight game and took sole possession of first place in the NFC East last Sunday, beating the Philadelphia Eagles 20-16 at Lincoln Financial Field. The 6-2 Cowboys produced 358 yards of offense behind another solid effort from quarterback Tony Romo. Romo completed 21-of-34 passes for 307 yards, a touchdown and one pick. His lone scoring strike came with 8:04 left in the game as he hit Miles Austin for a 49 yard bomb to put Dallas up 20-13. 

The Cowboys defense also showed well, holding the Eagles big play offense to just 17 first downs and 296 total yards. They also picked off Donovan McNaab twice.

Dallas is 3-1 on the road this year, where its defense has limited home teams to a meager 18.5 points per game.

Packers Breakdown: Green Bay dropped its second straight game last weekend, losing in embarrassing fashion to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium. The Pack fell 28-38 after giving up 21 fourth quarter points to rookie quarterback Josh Freeman and a Bucs offense that is averaging 16.8 points per game on the season. The great equalizer in this contest, as it usually is, was the turnover. Aaron Rodgers had his worst outing of the season, completing 17-of-35 passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Green Bay, which is 4-4 overall and in second place in the NFC North, is 2-2 at home this year. The Packers are averaging 24.3 points per game at Lambeau and yielding 21 per contest to their competition.

NFL Predictions Betting Trend: Dallas is 4-2 against the spread and 5-1 straight up in its last six games as a road favorite with a total between 47.5 and 51.
