Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders NFL Odds, NFL Predictions & NFL Picks: The Kansas City Chiefs will battle their arch nemesis, the Oakland Raiders, this afternoon for the right to third place in the AFC West. The two old AFL rivals are set to kickoff at 4:05pm ET at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum; the game will be broadcast live on CBS. NFL Odds at BetUS.com have the Raiders listed as a -1.5 against the spread home favorite.

Chiefs Breakdown: Kansas City made a late run at the Jaguars last weekend in Jacksonville, but, as usual, Todd Haley's Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders NFL Odds, Predictions & Picksteam came up short. Jacksonville won the game 24-21 and dropped the Chiefs record to 1-7. Quarterback Matt Cassel and newly signed receiver Chris Chambers made it interesting at the end, though, connecting on touchdown strikes of 54 and five yards in the final three minutes of action. Cassel finished the day 23-of-39 for 262 yards.

Kansas City is 1-3 on the road this year. The Chiefs offense is producing almost three more points per game above their season average in their away games (15.8 compared to 18.3); however, their defense is still yielding 25.5 points per contest.

These two bitter rivals met back in week two at Arrowhead Stadium. The Raiders somehow managed to win that game 13-10, despite having 14 fewer first downs, 243 fewer yards, and almost 18 fewer minutes of possession time.

Raiders Breakdown: Oakland's record fell to 2-6 on November 1st as Al Davis' wayward band of miserable pirates lost 16-24 to the Chargers in San Diego. The losing formula was similar to the one the Raiders have employed most of the season. Oakland's offense could not get anything going (13 first downs and 180 yards) and its defense was not strong enough to compensate. The captain of this battered vessel, quarterback JaMarcus Russell, completed 14-of-22 passes for 109 yards and a pick in the division loss. The putrid effort produced a 56.8 passer rating, Russell's third highest of the season.

Oakland is 1-3 at home this season where they average a meager nine points per game and give up 23.5 in return.

NFL Odds Betting Trends: The Chiefs are 8-2 against the spread and 7-3 straight up in their last 10 games at Oakland. The Raiders are 1-9 against the spread and 2-8 straight up in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 0 and 3.5.
