Quarterback Drew Brees completed 24-of-35 passes for 330 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the win. New Orleans opportunistic defense came through as well, scoring on a Carolina fumble with just 2:00 minutes left in the game.

The Saints are 3-0 on the road this year with wins over Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Miami. They are averaging 40.3 points per game away from the Superdome and giving up an average of 21 per contest.

Rams Breakdown: St. Louis is coming off of its bye, but prior to its break, the team scored its first win of the season with 17-10 victory over the Lions in Detroit. Despite getting off the snide, St. Louis still has a firm grip on last place in the NFC West with a 1-7 record. The Rams are presently two games the Seahawks and Forty Niners in the standings. Unfortunately for St. Louis, they have yet to win at home where they are 0-3 and losing by an average of 27.6 points per game.

For the Rams to have any chance in this contest, running back Steven Jackson will need an effort similar to his 149 yard outing against the Lions. He might have a chance considering that New Orleans defense has given up 343 rush yards over its last two games.
