Quarterback Donovan McNaab contributed to the misery, completing 16-of-30 passes for 226 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.
"We have to eliminate mistakes," McNaab said. "We have to have a short-term memory and just move on and be able to erase what happened."
The Eagles are 2-1 on the road this season where they average 24.7 points and give up just 13.3 in return.
Chargers Breakdown: San Diego drew to within a game of the Denver Broncos in the AFC West last Sunday, scoring a late, come-from-behind 21-20 win in New York against the Giants. The victory, which happened to be the Chargers third in a row, was strange to say the least, considering that San Diego managed just 18 first downs and 226 yards of offense while holding the ball a paltry 22:13. Philip Rivers, though, despite throwing two picks, came through in the clutch, completing 6-of-8 passes, including an 18 yard touchdown pass to Vincent jackson, on the team's 80-yard game winning drive.
The outspoken quarterback is hoping the dramatic comeback keeps the team's momentum rolling.
"I think it will carry over into this week, something we can build on as we prepare for another really tough NFC East opponent," Rivers said.
