Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Miami Dolphins NFL Odds, NFL Picks & NFL Predictions: The surging Tampa Bay Buccaneers (okay, not really) are on the other side of the state of Florida today as they take on the Dolphins at Land Shark Stadium in Miami. Kickoff in this Sunshine State battle is set for 1:00pm ET on FOX. NFL Odds at BetUS.com have the Dolphins listed as a -10 against the spread home favorite.
Despite the win, Tampa Bay still finds itself firmly entrenched in last place in the NFC South with a 1-7 record. They are also 0-3 on the road this year where they are averaging a meager 15.7 points and giving up 27.3 in return. Those numbers do not bode well for this team at Land Shark Stadium. The Bucs are yielding an average of 163.4 rush yards per game while Miami is one of the top rushing team in the league, churning out an average of 151 yards per game on the ground. Dolphins Breakdown: Miami lost for the second time in the last three weeks on Sunday, falling by a score of 17-27 to New England in Foxborough. The Dolphins, which are 3-5 and in third place in the AFC East, had a decent afternoon offensively, posting 21 first downs and 334 yards, but they did not do enough to keep pace with the high flying Patriots. New England racked up 22 first downs and 432 yards as Tom Brady and Randy Moss teamed up to torch the Miami secondary. Moss finished the game with six catches for 147 yards and one touchdown while Brady completed 25-of-37 passes for 323 yards. Miami is 2-2 at home this year where they average a stellar 31.5 points per game. Their defense, however, has not been that great at Land Shark as every visitor, with the exception of Buffalo, has reached or exceeded 27 points. NFL Odds Betting Trend: The Under is 9-1 in Miami's last 10 games as a home favorite with a total between 41.5 and 44.
