NFL Week 11 Predictions on the Arizona Cardinals vs Kansas City Chiefs Betting Odds: The Kansas City Chiefs play host to the Arizona Cardinals, Sunday Nov 21, as the Cardinals try to avoid dropping five straight. These two haven’t met since 2006, when the Chiefs won 23-20, in Arizona. NFL oddsmakers at SBGGLOBAL.com have the Chiefs as -7.5 point home favorites over the Cardinals while the game's total has been posted at 44 points. The Cardinals (3-6) (1-4 V) lost to Seattle 18-36, at home, in Week 10 and sit tied for last in the NFC West. QB Derek Anderson made 23 of 45 passes for 322 yards with a TD and an interception, while RB Timothy Hightower had 13 carries for a low 39 yards. WR Steve Breaston made four catches for 98 yards and Earl Doucet made six catches for 71 yards with a TD. Their defense got two sacks and one interception on the day. The consistent force of the Arizona defense finally met its match last week after the Seahawks picked on defensive backs Greg Toler and Adrian Wilson, which allowed them to have success down the field all day. Not only couldn’t defend against the pass, but they allowed two runningbacks, who’ve seen better days, run at will. Against KC, the Cards go up against a familiar face in Todd Haley. Haley was the offensive coordinator for the Arizona team that lost to the Steelers in the Super Bowl and he will be looking to get his Chiefs back on track after being shellacked by the Broncos. The Cardinals have the NFL’s second worst offense (263ypg) with the NFL’s second worst ranked pass game (181ypg) and a 29th ranked ground game (82ypg). Larry Fitzgerald leads their offense with four TD’s. The Cardinals battle against the Chiefs 19th ranked defense (344ypg), their 22nd ranked pass rush (240ypg) and their 13th ranked rush defense (104ypg). The Chiefs allow the 15th least amount of points per-game (21.6ppg).

The Chiefs (5-4) (4-0 H) lost big in Denver 29-49, in Week 10 but still sit tied for second in the AFC West. QB Matt Cassel made 33 of 53 passes for 469 yards with four TD’s. RB’s Jamaal Charlers had 14 carries for 41 yards, while WR Dwayne Bowe made 13 catches for 186 yards with two TD’s. Jamaal Charles got in on the action with five catches for 80 yards with a TD and Chris Chambers added a TD. They coughed up three fumbles but recovered two. The Kansas City Chiefs have risen to the top of the AFC West by using RB’s Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones in tandem to wear down defenses. Matt Cassel is the weak link in the equation and when teams with good run stopping ability plug up the Chiefs running game they will be dead in the water. The Chiefs offense will run over the Arizona Cardinals defense. The 3-4 defense of the Kansas City Chiefs has been ineffective up front when it comes to getting to the quarterback but they have been effective clogging up the middle of the field. The sack leader on the Chiefs is OLB Tamba Hali. Hali is a one man wrecking crew coming from off the ball in a stand up stance. The Chiefs are ranked 10th overall on offense (363ypg) with a 26th ranked pass game (198ypg), but they have the NFL’s best ranked running game (165ypg). WR Dwayne Bowe leads their offense with nine TD’s. The Chiefs will go up against the Cardinals 30th ranked defense (401ypg), their 27th ranked pass rush (269ypg) and their 28th ranked rush defense (132ypg). The Cards defense gives up the NFL’s most points per-game (29ppg).
