The Minnesota Vikings host the Seattle Seahawks, Sunday Nov 22, as the Vikings look for their fifth straight home win of the season. Seattle has taken three of the past five meetings, but that’s before the Bret Favre trade. NFL oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have the Vikings as -11 point home favs over the Seahawks with the over/under set at 46 points . Be sure to get your Seattle Seahawks vs Minnesota Vikings NFL Week 11 Predictions in now at Sportsbook.com The Seahawks (3-6) lost at Arizona 20-31 in Week 10 and sit third in the NFC West. QB Matt Hasselbeck made 26 of 52 passes for 315 yards with one TD pass and two interceptions; overall he’s thrown for 1,622 yards with 11 TD’s and six interceptions for a 82.2 passer rating. RB Justin Forsett had 17 carries for 123 yards with a TD, while WR T.J. Houshmanzadeh made nine catches for 165 yards. TE John Carlson caught their lone TD pass. Their offense went 1-4 in the red zone and 0-2 on goal to go. Their defense had no sacks or interceptions. If they couldn’t slow down the Cardinals high powered one sided offense, they aren’t going to slow down the Vikings pass or run game . The Hawks defense is 24th against the pass and 11th against the rush. Seahawks LB David Hawthorne leads the Hawks with three interceptions. Their running game won’t get far against the Vikings sixth ranked rush defense, but they might get their 13th ranked pass game going against the Vikings 23rd ranked pass rush. The Seahawks average 20.8ppg and give up 22ppg, while they are 0-4 SU on the road where they average 16ppg and allow 31.5ppg. They are 3-6 ATS and 5-4 over/under.The Vikings (8-1) beat Detroit 27-10 at home in Week 10 and still sit atop the NFC North. QB Brett Favre made 20 of 29 passes for 344 yards with one TD pass; overall he’s thrown for 2,269 yards with 17 TD passes and three interceptions for a 107 passer rating. RB Adrian Peterson had 18 carries for 133 yards with two TD’s, while WR Sidney Rice made seven catches for 201 yards. TE Jeff Dugan caught their lone TD pass. It could have been worse if the Vikings made more than 2-6 in the red zone. WR Sidney Rice is Brett Favre’s go to guy, he leads the NFC with 786 receiving yards and has become one of the league's best deep threats, averaging 17.9 yards per catch. He provides a stiff test for the Seahawks' 22nd-ranked pass defense. RB Adrian Peterson is once again putting up incredible numbers . He leads the NFC with 917 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns and with Favre keeping defenses honest, Peterson has carved up seven-man fronts whenever he sees them. Containing him will be pivotal for Seattle. QB Brett Favre is 4-3 in his career against the Seahawks and WR Percy Harvin leads all rookies with five touchdowns. The Vikings average 30.1ppg and give up 20.4ppg, while they are 4-0 SU at home where they average 29.2ppg and allow 22ppg. They are 5-3-1 ATS and 6-4 over/under. Recent Trends to Consider:
