How did the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals do in NFL Week 10 action? The Buffalo Bills played the Detroit Lions last Sunday in Buffalo. Finally, finally, the Bills won a game! Final, 14-10 over the Lions. You can look at it two ways. Not much of a win over a team who only has 2 wins recorded for this season. Or, a HUGE win for the fans that were made to wait week after week for their team to win.
Fred Jackson had an impressive game, and a season-best 133 yards rushing on 25 carries with 1 touchdown. Quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, went 12 of 24 for 146 yards and a touchdown. Calvin Johnson had 10 receptions for 128 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. The Bills lost C.J. Spiller, running back, to a hamstring injury in the second half of the game.
The Cincinnati Bengals played the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday in Indy and kept the colts to a close came. Only one touchdown difference in the final, Colts 23, Bengals 17. The now 2-7 Bengals were not expected to have this close of a game with the now 6-3 Colts. If it wasn’t for five turnovers the Bengals had, they may have had a shot at the win. Carson Palmer had 292 yards with 2 touchdowns. Palmer also had 3 interceptions. 17 of the Colts points came from those 5 turnovers.
Nothing seemed to go right for the Bengals. Palmer got sacked 3 times. Cedric Benson ran for 24 yards on 14 carries, but lost a fumble which led to a field goal for the Colts. Chad Ochocinco caught 7 passes for a total of 86 yards and 1 touchdown. He finished the game with a sore left shoulder. Rookie Jermaine Gresham’s had the best NFL game with 9 catches for 85 yards and a touchdown that brought the Bengals within 23-17 of the Colts with 2:35 left. That high didn’t last long. He lost a fumble at the Colts 34 yard line that cost Cincinnati its best opportunity to win the game.
2010 NFL Picks Week 11 on the NFL Point Spreads for the Bills vs. Bengals Game: This is a game against two disappointing teams. The Bills just put up their first win last week. The Bengals are 2-7. The Bengals have good talent on their team, but haven’t been able to mold it all together. I’m taking the home team on this one, Bengals 24, Bills 21.
