Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals 2010 NFL Picks, 2010 NFL Predictions & 2010 NFL Odds: The Buffalo Bills will look to make it two wins in a row this afternoon as they take on the Cincinnati Bengal, losers of six in a row, in the Queen City. Kickoff in today's AFC North versus AFC East clash is slated for 1:00pm ET at Paul Brown Stadium; the game will be broadcast live on CBS. 2010 NFL Picks, Predictions & Odds at online bookmaker SBGglobal.com have the Bengals listed as a -5 against the spread home favorite.
Given the number of close games the Bills have found themselves in, it seemed unreasonable to think that they would
finish the season with a winless record. Detroit, the last team to fight its way through a winless campaign, saw fit that the 2010 Bills did not join the exclusive club. The Lions fell to Buffalo 14-12 last Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium, insuring that every team in the league will experience at least one victory this year.
The Bills, though, may not have developed the football chops for back-to-back wins just yet. Buffalo might have had a better chance were they hosting Cincinnati today because the road has been unkind to Chan Gailey's squad. The Bills are 0-4 in true road games, losing in almost every fashion (34-7 Green Bay, 38-30 New England, 37-34 OT Baltimore, 13-10 OT Kansas City).
The Bengals may have two wins, but given that the last one took place seven games ago, they may have forgotten what victory feels like. Cincinnati's woes and Marvin Lewis effort to lose his job continued last weekend with a 23-17 loss at Indianapolis.
To its credit, Cincinnati has remained competitive over the last six games, despite the fact that the stretch included some of the league's top teams (Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis). Unfortunately for Bengals fans, things do not get any easier in December as the team squares off against the Jets, Saints, Steelers, Browns, and Chargers.
This game, obviously, comes down to pride as neither team has any chance of winning its respective division. While both squads are down, they have shown fight week in and week out, which means today's contest has every opportunity to be a nail-biting slugfest.
NFL Picks Betting Trend: The Bengals are 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite with a spread between 4 and 7.5.
