NFL Picks Week 12: As Nacho Libre once said, "Let's get down to the nitty gritty". With just six games left and a host of teams in each conference battling for division titles/playoff spots never have those words been so apt. Several games on this week's docket could serve to make the postseason picture a little bit clearer or muddy the waters even further as the Eagles take on the Bears, the Seahawks host the Chiefs, and the Buccaneers square off against the Ravens. For the latest NFL Picks Week 12 on those key games as well as the full NFL Week 12 lineup, which includes three Thanksgiving Day clashes, visit online bookmaker BetUS.com today.
Philadelphia Eagles vs Chicago Bears (+3): The Eagles moved into the driver's seat in the NFC East on Sunday with a decisive
27-17 victory over the New York Giants. Philadelphia improved to 7-3 with the win and took over first place in the division, but, more importantly, it continued its domination with Michael Vick under center. The Eagles are 3-0 since Vick returned to the lineup, beating the Colts, Redskins, and Giants, which have a combined record of 17-13, by an average of 14.3 points per game. The Bears, like the Eagles, come into this game with a 7-3 record and a first place position in their division. Chicago also has little margin for error, though, with the surging Packers (7-3) breathing down its neck. The Bears are just 3-2 at home this season, but they did score their most lopsided win of the season at Soldier Field two weekend's ago with a 27-13 win against the hapless Vikings.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Baltimore Ravens (-7.5): Not many people took the Bucs early season success all that seriously, but the team has now done enough to warrant some legitimate resepct. No, Tampa Bay has not beat a team with a winning record yet, but it has won four of its last five games, thumping St. Louis, Arizona, Carolina, and San Francisco. If this team wants to stay in the NFC South title race and/or secure a playoff spot, it must find a way to overcome a quality opponent in a hositle environment. Sunday's trip to Baltimore will present both of those things as the 7-3 Ravens fight to keep the Steelers at bay in the AFC North.
