NFL Picks Week 12: There are only seven weeks remaining on the regular season schedule, which means there are no more byes. With everyone in action this week, things could get very interesting for division leaders in the AFC. To begin, here are the AFC’s division leaders going into Week 12: (7-3) New England Patriots (East), (7-3) Baltimore Ravens tied with Pittsburgh Steelers (North), (7-3) Houston Texans (South) and (6-4) Oakland Raiders (West).
According to the NFL Week 12 schedule, the first, of these division leaders, in action this week will be part of what’s being called the Harbaugh Bowl. The (9-1) San Francisco 49ers [+3], led by Jim Harbaugh will travel to M&T Bank Stadium to take on big brother John and the Ravens [-3] on Thursday night.
This would be the first time that two brothers will face off in an NFL game both as head coaches. I like the Ravens to win this one by a field goal as well.
Someone that’ll certainly be watching this one closely is the AFC North co-leading, Steelers. Mike Tomlin’s team will be at Arrowhead Stadium this week, as the Pittsburgh [-10] takes on the Kansas City Chiefs [+10]. The Steelers are beginning to hit their stride, and KC is head in the opposite direction. I like the Steelers by a bundle.
The Silver and Black will also be in action this week, as Tim Tebow and the (5-5) Denver Broncos will be chasing them down. The Raiders [-4½] might have caught a break when Jay Cutler went down last week, as the red-hot (7-3) Chicago Bears [+4½] storm into the O.Co Coliseum with huge a huge question mark. No Cutler no win, I like Oakland in this one!
The final AFC division leader remaining is of course the East-leading Pats. This week, New England will have a chance to put the Eagles’ playoff hopes to bed, as they travel to Lincoln Financial Field to take on Vince Young in Philly. NFL Point Spreads for this game have yet to become available…
