In addition to Gore, Niners fullback, Bruce Miller is not expected to play on Thursday game. Already a scratch against Baltimore due to a concussion, Miller should be replaced by right end Justin Peele, who took over fullback duties in last week’s game. Backup FB Moran Norris should also be available for this game.

For the Ravens, John also has some concerns regarding personnel, starting with the heart of this defense. The incomparable Ray Lewis remains questionable because of a foot injury. Lewis injured toe caused him to sit out last week’s 31-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Although he hasn’t ruled himself out for this game, he has yet to resume practicing. It is believed that Lewis will take medicine to mask the pain and give it a go.

Listed as questionable are: (LB) Ray Lewis (foot), (CB) Chris Carr (back) and (S) Tom Zbikowski (leg). (DT) Arthur Jones (concussion) is listed as doubtful and (RB) Anthony Allen (thigh) is listed as probable.
