Green Bay has been an up and down team all season; they seem to stick with the good or the bad for about a two week period. Their erratic play, not surprisingly, has garnered a 5-5 record. Last week the Pack rebounded from a difficult loss to Minnesota by trouncing the Bears 37-3 at Lambeau Field. Green Bay racked up 427 total yards, 200 of that coming on the ground, and they converted 50 percent of their third down oportunities.
New Orleans has been an enigma of sorts this season too. They have been unable to sustain any positive momentum, illustrated by their inability to record back to back wins this season. The Saints will get that opportunity again tonight as they took out the Chiefs 30-20 last week at Arrowhead.
A victory over the Packers tonight would not remove the Saints from last place in the NFC South; however, due to the log jam in the division standings, it would put them just two games behind the Buccaneers at 6-5.
