NFL Power Rankings Week 12

by Matt Foust on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

NFL Power Rankings Week 12: The Philadelphia Eagles, which finished 10th in our Week 10 NFL Power Rankings, vault to the top of the leaderboard this week after their 27-17 victory over the Giants. The Eagles look almost unstoppable right now and their play over the last three weeks warrants their jump to the No. 1 spot. Rounding out the top five spots in the Sportsbook.com NFL Power Rankings Week 12 are the Patriots, Falcons, Packers, and Jets.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (7-3 SU) (5-5 ATS): Their offense is a nightmare matchup for even the best of defenses.

2. New England Patriots (8-2 SU) (5-4-1 ATS): Nothing about them screams dominance, but they find a way to get it done week in/week out.

3. Atlanta Falcons (8-2 SU) (6-4 ATS): Look well on their way to at least one home playoff game.

4. Green Bay Packers (7-3 SU) (6-4 ATS): That two game skid seems like it was two seasons ago.

5. New York Jets (8-2 SU) (6-4 ATS): What a boon getting Santonio Holmes for next to nothing.

6. New Orleans Saints (7-3 SU) (5-2-1 ATS): Looks like the floundering is over and the Saints are ready to defend their title.

7. Baltimore Ravens (7-3 SU) (5-4-1 ATS): Their next four games are critical (TB, Pit, Hou, and NO), but three of them are at home.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-3 SU) (6-4 ATS): Sunday's whipping of the Raiders was an impressive rebound from the loss to the Patriots.

9.  New York Giants (6-4 SU) (5-5 ATS): Tom Coughlin is hoping his team responds to their current two game losing streak the same way they did to their previous one.

10. San Diego Chargers (5-5 SU) (5-5 ATS):  The Chargers are showing their true colors now that the mistakes are being minimized.

11. Kansas City Chiefs (6-4 SU) (6-4 ATS):  Exceptional at home, but can they find their way on the road?

12. Chicago Bears (7-3 SU) (5-4-1 ATS): What looked like luck before is now starting to look like something else.

13. Indianapolis Colts (6-4 SU) (6-3-1 ATS): Will injuries derail the Colts postseason streak?

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3 SU) (6-3-1 ATS): The 7-3 start is amazing but it may not be enough to secure a postseason spot in the log-jammed NFC.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4 SU) (6-4 ATS): Can the Jags keep things rolling with three of their next four games on the road?

16. Oakland Raiders (5-5 SU) (6-4 ATS): Miami is a must win game if the Raiders want to keep pace with the Chiefs and Chargers.

17. Washington Redskins (5-5 SU) (5-3-2 ATS):  The Redskins have followed up each of their three overtime games this season with a loss.

18. Tennessee Titans (5-5 SU) (5-5 ATS): Three straight losses and some locker room turmoil may derail what looked like a sure-fire playoff season

19. Miami Dolphins (5-5 SU) (6-4 ATS): They lost last week so they shoud pull the upset in Oakland on Sunday.

20. Cleveland Browns (3-7 SU) (4-5-1 ATS): Carolina should get this team back on the winning track.

21. Seattle Seahawks (5-5 SU) (5-5 ATS): They somehow have the NFC West lead, despite losing three of their last four.

22. St. Louis Rams (4-6 SU) (7-3 ATS): Three straight road game will show just what this team is made of.

23. Houston Texans (4-6 SU) (3-6-1 ATS): This team would have trouble stopping a Pop Warner squad.

24. Dallas Cowboys (3-7 SU) (3-7 ATS): Looks like the Cowboys have a little heart after all.

25. Denver Broncos (3-7 SU) (3-7 ATS): This team is capable of winning by 20 or losing by 40, both of which it has done already.

26. Buffalo Bills (2-8 SU) (5-4-1 ATS): No one in Buffalo is bragging about the Bills record, but this team brings it every week.

27. San Francisco 49ers (3-7 SU) (3-7 ATS): A win over Arizona and, amazingly, the Niners will still have a foot in the NFC West race.

28. Minnesota Vikings (3-7 SU) (2-7-1 ATS): We'll see if Leslie Frazier can work some Jason Garrett-like magic in the Twin Cities.

29. Detroit Lions (2-8 SU) (7-3 ATS): The Lions have hung tough most of the season, but the losing/injuries may be starting to wear on them.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (2-8 SU) (3-7 ATS): It would appear this team has quit on the season.

31. Arizona Cardinals (3-7 SU) (3-7 ATS): Derek Anderson may be the worst starting quarterback in football.

32. Carolina Panthers (1-9 SU) (2-8 ATS): It simply cannot get any worse for this team. Luckily for them they were able to host the self-destructive Niners.
