Be sure to get your Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings NFL Week 12 Picks in now at Sportsbook.com The Bears (4-6) lost to Philadelphia 20-24 at home in Week 11 and now sit third in the NFC North. QB Jay Cutler made 24 of 43 passes for 171 yards with one TD and an interception; overall he’s thrown for 2,524 yards with 15 TD’s and 18 interceptions for a 74.5 passer rating. RB Kahlil Bell had four carries for 81 yards, while WR Earl Bennett made five catches for b57 yards. TE Kellen Davis made their lone TD catch. They went 1-3 in the red zone and 0-1 on goal to go. QB Jay Cutler leads the league with 18 interceptions, but he might do well against the Vikings 21st ranked pass defense , that has pulled down a low seven interceptions . Only three teams have fewer interceptions, but Minnesota leads the league with 36 sacks and could pressure Cutler into more mistakes. Chicago ranks eighth against the pass and their defense has given up 18 TD’s through the air and could offer Favre an opportunity to improve upon his already impressive numbers. When Jay Cutler has a 100-plus passer rating, his teams are 13-0. RB Matt Forte is the only player in the NFL with 1,750-plus rushing yards and 850-plus receiving yards since 2008. The Bears have averaged 15.7ppg and allowed 25ppg in their last three games. They are 1-4 SU on the road where they average 14ppg and allow 23.2ppg. They are 4-6 ATS and 4-6 over/under.The Vikings (9-1) beat Seattle 35-9 at home in Week 11 and still sit atop the NFC North. QB Brett Favre made 22 of 25 passes for 213 yards with four TD’s; overall he’s thrown for 2,482 yards with 21 TD’s and three interceptions for a 111.6 passer rating. Backup QB Tavaris Jackson also got some play time in making six of eight passes with a TD. RB Adrian Peterson had 24 carries for 82 yards, while WR Sidney Rice made six catches for 89 yards with two TD’s. WR Percy Harvin, WR Bernard Berrian and TE Vinsanthe Shiancoe each added a TD. The Vikings played the perfect game last week. QB Bret Favre is tied for second in the league with 21 TD’s and has just three interceptions. Known as a risk taker, Favre has settled in with the multitude of weapons around him in Minnesota and taken advantage of what opposing defenses have given him. He’ll look to pick apart the Bears eighth ranked pass defense with their 10th ranked pass game. If that isn’t successful then they’ll go with their 10th ranked running game against the Bears 23rd ranked rush defense . RB Adrian Peterson leads his team with 1,005 yards rushing and 11 TD’s. The Vikings outscored the Packers and Lions by a total of 122-72 in sweeping both division foes. With an eye on playoff positioning, taking care of slumping Chicago and running their division mark to 5-0 will serve as motivation for Minnesota. Brett Favre is 22-10 against the Bears in his career. The Vikings have averaged 33.3ppg and allowed 15ppg in their last three games. They are 5-0 SU at home where they average 30.4ppg and allow 19.4ppg. They are 6-4 ATS and 5-5 over/under. Recent Trends to Consider:
