In fact, after Sunday’s game at Indy, the Panthers will play the Buccaneers twice, Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans.
For the Colts, all that’s left to talk about for this team is: will or will they not draft Andrew Luck in next year’s draft? Another question worth mentioning is: will Peyton Manning be able to play this season?
In the meantime, Jim Caldwell will have to count on Curtis Painter to get the first W of the season. Despite being pulled in the fourth quarter of their loss to Jacksonville two weeks ago, Painter is expected to make his eighth consecutive start this season. The Colts are coming off a bye week.
"I think everybody's a little disappointed with the season," Painter said. "I think, looking at myself, I'm just disappointed in the last couple of games and kind of how I've performed. I know that I need to continue to improve and get better. I think we're all a little disappointed, but we'll keep fighting for sure."
