This weeks game could be the last chance that the Jacksonville Jaguars have in Week 13 to grab the AFC South title as an NFL Picks team against the Indianapolis Colts. Jacksonville easily disposed of the Buffalo Bills last week 36-14 for their third win in a row leaving them at 8-3 SU. The Jags are hoping last weeks win will give them the confidence they need as they head into their second meeting with the Colts. The Colts won the first game earlier in the season 29-7. Stating QB David Garrad had a decent day going 23-of-37 for a career-high 296 yards and set a team record for consecutive passes without an interception (209) against the Bills. RB Fred Taylor also had a good game as he rushed for 104 yards on 14 carries along with scoring a touchdown. It doesn’t appear that the public doesn’t believe that the Jags can compete with the Colts as BetUs.com has them listed as a rather high +7 point underdog.
Much has been said that the Indianapolis Colts are just not the team who won last years Super Bowl even with all of their injuries. But the fact still remains they are still the team to beat in the AFC South sitting at 9-2 SU after last weeks seemingly 31-13 easy win over the Atlanta Falcons. After a start that seemed to indicate they would remain in their current funk the Colts outscored the Falcons 31-3 to put the game away. As usual, Manning led the way going and efficient 22 of 32 for 272 yards and went past another Colts great, Johnny Unitas, for 10th place on the NFL's career passing list with 40,407 yards. He also broke a tie with Warren Moon for fifth place in career TD passes, moving to 294. The Colts defense also seemed to have come back to life in the second half of the game as they allowed only a total of 92 yards to the Falcons.
Seven points in this one might not get you the win as in each of the last two meetings between these two in Indianapolis has resulted in 7-point wins for the Colts. The colts have been tough to beat at the RCA Dome during the last seasons going 14-1 SU & 11-4 ATS. The Jaguars are hot however and are a profitable 4-1 ATS in their L5 trips to Indy while the Colts are only 1-2 ATS in divisional games this year and 3-6 ATS in its L9. The ATS divisional win this season for the Colts was in Jacksonville in week 6 this season but will they be able to make it a repeat at home
