The Texans (5-5) lost to Tennessee 17-20 at home in Week 11 and sit third in the AFC South. QB Matt Schaub made 25 of 39 passes for 305 yards with two TD’s; overall he’s thrown for 2,958 yards with 19 TD’s and nine interceptions for a 98.9 passer rating. RB Chris Brown had 11 carries for 36 yards, while RB Steve Slayton had five carries for 21 yards and he made five catches for 42 yards with a TD. WR Andre Johnson caught a 49 yard pass for a TD. RB Steve Slaton put up some outstanding numbers during his rookie season and was considered one of the league's most promising young rushers. This year he has been struggling, as he has seven fumbles and is averaging just 3.1 yards per carry. He must get back to his 2008 form if the Texans expect to beat the Colts and stay in the playoff race. The Texans offense is ranked ninth overall with the third best pass game in the league that’ll go up against the Colts 18th ranked pass defense . They don’t run the ball enough and they won’t get far against the Colts 13th ranked rush defense. Mario Williams has just four sacks and one forced fumble this season, and has not made a major impact. For the Texans to beat the Colts, he will need to be at his best, and put constant pressure on Colts QB Peyton Manning.
