For the Broncos, Tebow’s spot as their quarterback this season was solidified when the team released Orton. In spite of what John Elway says, no one can deny the fact that this kid is the best thing that’s happened to the Broncos since No.7 used to suit up. Not only has Tebow taken this once-left-for-dead team back into playoff contention in the AFC, but Tebow mania is also putting a heck of a lot of cash into the Broncos’ pockets.
How can Elway be so critical of Tebow with the media when one of the biggest beneficiaries here is him? It seems absurd doesn’t it? Isn’t it ridiculous that two of the guys that should be tanking Tebow for not putting their jobs in jeopardy are his biggest critics?
Seriously, what right does John Fox have to come out and rip on the guy that’s winning you ballgames right now, the same guy that’s saying your rear-end from being on the hot-seat? Is it just ridiculous to me? What are all these critics going to do if this kid takes them to the playoff despite not being the most mechanically-sound passer in the history of the sport?
It’s going to be interesting to see how the Broncos react playing in a gam,e as big as this one. I mean, last week was impressive, don’t get me wrong. But the Jets aren’t exactly a team that can explode offensively at any time like we all know the Chargers can. Or can they? It seems like everyone keep waiting for the moment San Diego is going to wake up and start playing like the Chargers team that has dominated the division for so long.
