NFL Week 13 Predictions: The AFC West has all of the sudden turned into a two-horse race between the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos. With the Silver and Black holding their destiny at the present time, the Broncos need some help if they want to take over the top spot in the division.
This week, the (7-4) Raiders [+3] will be in Miami to take on the (4-8) Dolphins [-3], and they’ll be listed as the NFL Point Spreads underdogs! It appears that despite being one of the hottest teams in the AFC, winners of three straight, odds makers believe the Fins are the better team in this matchup.
Not only do I find that hard to believe, even as well as Miami has been playing, but I would be willing to take Oakland with a 3-point cushion any day of the week. When you take into consideration that Darren McFadden has resume practicing and may be ready to start Sunday’s game, that bet becomes even that much more attractive.
Heck, even with Michael Bush coming out of the backfield I believe the Raiders can win. Nevertheless, getting No.20 back should be a huge boost for a Raiders offense that’s beginning to find its center of balance. RUN DMC participated in a light workout this week, as for the first time he took the field without a walking boot… get ready Miami!
