Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins 2010 NFL Predictions, Picks & Odds

by Matt Foust on Friday, December 3rd, 2010

Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins 2010 NFL Predictions, 2010 NFL Picks & 2010 NFL Odds: The Cleveland Browns are in the Sunshine State this weekend to take on the roller coaster Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium. The game between the two AFC rivals is scheduled to get underway at 1:00pm ET on Sunday, December 5th; it will be broadcast live on CBS. 2010 NFL Predictions, Picks & Odds at BetUS.com have the Dolphins listed as a -4 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 42.5.

The Browns horrific 1-5 start doomed the team to another postseason on the couch, but they have been anything but Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins 2010 NFL Predictions, Picks & Oddspushovers in the middle portion of the season, winning three of their last five games by an average of 11.3 points per game.

Cleveland, despite the best efforts of quarterback Jake Delhomme to win last weekend's game for his former team, fought its way to a 24-23 home victory against the woeful Panthers. Delhomme, who started in place of the injured Colt McCoy, threw for 245 yards but he also tossed two interceptions, one of which was returned 37 yards for a touchdown by Carolina's Captain Munnerlyn.

Delhomme, who step in for McCoy again on Sunday, will need a better effort against the Dolphins if his team is to capture its fifth win of the season. Miami's pass defense, which ranks fourth in the league at 201.4 pass yards per game allowed, could pose a problem, though, for the declining signal caller.

Miami stayed in the playoff chase with a 33-17 underdog road win at Oakland last Sunday. The victory improved the Fins record to 6-5 on the season, but they are still on the outside looking in as far as the postseason is concerned.

Tony Sparano's troops must find some consistency if they want any chance at all of capturing one of the two AFC Wild Card spots. Since its week five bye, Miami has alternated wins and losses while emerging victorious in just one of its three home games during that stretch (1-4 at Sun Life Stadium this season).

Quarterback Chad Henne, who lost the starting job after a three interception outing at Baltimore in week nine, is scheduled to start against the Browns on Sunday. Henne, who threw for 307 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the win at Oakland, has an 86.8 passer rating at home this year, where he has tossed six touchdowns and six interceptions.

NFL Picks Betting Trend: Cleveland is 9-1 against the spread in its last 10 games as a road dog with a total between 41.5 and 44.

NFL Picks Week 13 Cleveland Browns vs Miami Dolphins 2010 NFL Predictions, Picks & Odds:

Cleveland Browns +4 (-110), Over 42.5 (-110)

Miami Dolphins -4 (-110), Under 42.5 (-110)
