NFL Picks: Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore Ravens

NFL Picks Week 14: Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore RavensIn a Week 14 prime time matchup the Indianapolis Colts look to continue their winning NFL Picks as they hit the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens.  The Ravens themselves are in the midst of a horrible season and the worst in the 9 year coaching reign of Brian Billick, losing their last 6 in a row to put them at 4-8 SU overall and out of the playoff picture.  Baltimore, one of the leagues lowest scoring teams, almost pulled off the major upset last week against the unbeaten Patriots.  It’s no news that the Ravens offense has struggled as they have been at the bottom of the league in that category every year since 2002.  It’s their struggling defense that has been a surprise as they have given up an average of 28.3 points per game during their current losing streak.  Obviously the public knows this versus the high scoring Colts and as a result Bodog.com has Baltimore a +10 point dog.

The Colts who some thought might be on their way down with all of their injuries this season and the loss to New England earlier in the season, have shown to have the heart of a champion as they come in at 10-2 Su overall and are in position to earn a bye in the AFC playoffs. They've won three in a row after dropping consecutive games to New England and San Diego.  Colts QB seems to have finally adjusted to not having Marvin Harrison as last week he completed 20 of 29 passes to five different receivers for 288 yards while throwing four touchdowns and only one interception.  RB Joseph Addai didn’t have the best of games but was able to keep the Jacksonville defense off balance enough by rushing for 67 yards.  But for the most part it was Manning who got the win for the Colts.

Baltimore might not have much hope of breaking their 6 game slide when you consider this matchup as they are only 3-7 ATS in their L10 games versus offensive teams who pass for more then 235 yards per game. Although the Colts have figured out how to win on the road posting a 5-1 SU mark they are only 3-3 ATS this season.  Overall the Colts have been profitable on the road historically going 18-6 SU & 14-9-1 ATS in their L24 away games.

It appeared that Baltimore was way over matched going into the New England game last week but they almost came away with the victory.  Will it be a repeat this week?

There are a number of games in this weeks action that present some good profit opportunities.  Michael Alexander is all over these matchups and has your GUARANTEED profits at Alexandersports.
