Saints Breakdown: New Orleans made it clear who the better team was on Monday night as it easily disposed of the Patriots 
38-17 at the Superdome. The route ran the Saints record to 11-0 and left them one win away from the NFC South title and spot in the playoffs (as if they are sweating it). However, Drew Brees, who threw for 371 yards and five touchdowns against New England, and his cohorts may be eyeing an undefeated season as well. After Washington, the Saints have difficult games at Atlanta and at home against Dallas. Following those two contests they get Tampa Bay at home and then close out the year in Carolina. While it is certainly not a foregone conclusion that they will win out, it is a definite possibility.
Redskins Breakdown: Washington put together its second consecutive solid effort last Sunday, but just like in Dallas (6-7) two weekends ago, the beleaguered squad came up short in Philadelphia. The Redskins led 24-16 midway through the fourth quarter against their NFC East rival but were unable to hold the Eagles offense in check when it counted most, sending them back to Landover with a 27-24 loss and a 3-8 record.
It is hard to envision this team producing abother strong effort after two tough losses to division opposition. Not only are they plagued by injuries, they are playing for a lame duck coach and have absolutely nothing on the line other than draft position.
