The Saints (12-0) won in Washington 33-30 (OT) in Week 13 and have clinched the NFC South. QB Drew Brees made 35 of 49 passes for 419 yards with two TD’s and one interception; overall he’s thrown for 3,536 yards with 29 TD’s and 10 interceptions for a 111.3 passer rating. RB Mike Bell had 16 carries for 34 yards, while WR Robert Meachem made eight catches for 142 yards with a TD. WR Marques Colston made two catches for 46 yards with a TD. The Saints must be more disciplined as they were penalized seven times for 102 yards. The Saints high powered offense has the ground game and the air attack to put up huge numbers, unlike last week. They’ll be up against a Falcons defense that is ranked 29th against the pass and 23rd against the rush. The Falcons give up the 23rd most points per-game (23.2) while the Saints put up the most points per-game (36.7) . WR Robert Meachem has become one of Drew Brees' go-to targets. He has seven TD’s in the last five weeks (including a defensive score), and has scored at least once in all five games. Safety Darren Sharper is tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions. The Saints have averaged 36.3ppg and allowed 18ppg in their last three games. They are 6-0 SU on the road where they average 36.7ppg and give up an average 20.5ppg.They are 8-4 ATS and 7-5 over/under.

The Falcons (6-6) lost to Philadelphia 7-34 at home in Week 13 and sit second in the NFC South. QB Matt Ryan and RB Michael Turner sat out last week and both might miss Sundays tilt. Atlanta must find a way to improve offensively, or it has no chance of beating New Orleans. Backup QB Chris Redman made 23 of 44 passes for 235 yards with one TD and two interceptions. He’s started two games throwing for 478 yards with three TD’s and two interceptions for a 72.6 passer rating. RB Jason Snelling had 10 carries for 35 yards, while WR Roddy White made nine catches for 1204 yards with a TD. TE Tony Gonzalez made eight catches for 72 yards. The Falcons' struggles this year have come on defense, it gets no easier for the Falcons 28th ranked defense with the Saints' top-ranked offense coming to town. The Falcons 29th ranked pass defense is going to get picked apart by the Saints third ranked pass game that averages a whopping 285 yards a game . Falcons Safety Thomas Cloud is their interception leader with two on the season, which came in Week 6. The Falcons can also be picked apart on the ground with the Saints fifth best running game in the league. The only thing going for the Falcons is that they are at home. WR Roddy White has a career-high eight TD catches this year. The Falcons have averaged 19.3ppg and allowed 28.3ppg in their last three games. They are 5-1 SU at home where they average 21ppg and allow 18.2ppg. They are 7-5 ATS and 7-5 over/under.

Recent Trends to Consider:
