Cincinnati Bengals vs Minnesota Vikings NFL Odds, NFL Predictions & NFL Picks: Two playoff bound squads will test themselves against each other this afternoon as the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings tangle at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. Kickoff in this highly anticipated AFC versus NFC confrontation is set for 1:00pm ET on CBS. NFL Odds at Sportsbook.com have the Vikings listed as a -6.5 against the spread home favorite.

Bengals Breakdown: Cincinnati has sursprised almost everyone with their stellar play this season, and, most assuredly, Cincinnati Bengals vs Minnesota Vikings NFL Odds, Predictions & Pickssurpassed expectations with their AFC North leading 9-3 record. The Bengals have taken adavantage of a soft schedule, for the most part, during the last few weeks and recorded wins over Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit. Cincy's most recent win came against the Lions, which it took out 23-13 last Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. The easy victory gave the Bengals a three game lead in the division standings.

Cincinnati has a decent shot at the number two seed in the AFC playoffs, but it will, most likely, have to win today and next week at San Diego in order to secure it.

The Bengals are 4-1 straight up (3-2 ATS) on the road this season where they are winning by an average of 3.2 points per game.

Vikings Breakdown: Minnesota looked almost invincible heading into last week's showdown with the Cardinals in Arizona, but they proved that they were not, falling 17-30 to the defending NFC champs. The loss dropped the Vikings record to 10-2, but did not jeopardize, at least severely anyway, their lead in the NFC North division. Minnesota still sits two games ahead of the Packers and they have a two game lead over the Cardinals and Cowboys for the number two seed in the NFC.

Minnesota is a perfect 6-0 at the Metrodome this year; the Vikings are averaging 31.3 points and winning by an average of 13.5 points per game at home.

NFL Odds Betting Trend: The Bengals are 2-8 straight up and against the spread in their last 10 games as a road dog in the month of December with a spread between 4 and 7.5.
