Week 15 brings the Indianapolis Colts to play the Oakland Raiders on a four game NFL Picks winning streak. Last week the Colts opened up a 30 point second quarter lead to pound the Baltimore Ravens 44-20. The win, combined with Tennessee's loss to San Diego got the defending Super Bowl champions a sixth consecutive berth in the playoffs. Indianapolis sitting at 11-2 SU is still looking to win the AFC South and earn another high seed. Manning was his usual All Pro self going13-for-17 for 249 yards and three touchdowns to became only the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw 300 touchdown passes. He only played the first half of the game. RB Joseph Addai also contributed to the scoring onslaught with two touchdowns of his own. Bodog.com has the Colts listed as a solid -11 point favorite.
Unfortunately last week after winning two in a row the Oakland Raiders ran into the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field and only managed to put seven points on the board after scoring 34 and 20 in those two wins. Raiders coach Lane Kiffin said the chilly 18-degree conditions didn't affect his team but you couldn’t tell it by the performance of his offense as QB Josh Mccown was only 7 of 15 for a paltry 110 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Their running game didn’t do much better as RB’s Jordon and Fargas rushed for only 78 yards on 26 carries.
Indianapolis rides into Oakland a heavy favorite but a cover is not a sure thing as they are just 3-12 ATS in their L15 second half games against defenses who allow 7 or more passing yards per attempt. But, to counter a disadvantage for the Colts, Oakland is 1-11 ATS in December over the L3 seasons and 2-4 SU & 1-5 ATS at home in this season.
Indianapolis is on a roll while the Raiders have once again turned a season into a disaster. Will the Colts come to play this week?
