In the “Who Cares” category in Week 15 the Baltimore Ravens look to capture the NFL Picks as they travel to South Beach to take on the winless Miami Dolphins. Even though the Dolphins haven’t won game it appears that the Ravens have sunk just as low as they got humiliated Sunday Night by the Indianapolis Colts in a 44-20 drubbing. Baltimore at 4-9 SU have lost a franchise-record seven straight. Last week the Ravens committed five turnovers, had a punt blocked and managed only 57 yards in offense through the first 30 minutes of play. Replacement QB Kyle Boller threw three interceptions and lost a fumble and ended the night19 for 25 for 132 yards and a touchdown. Off season RB acquisition Willis McGahee rushed for only 45 yards on 17 carries. Even with all of their issues the public still thinks that they will get back in the win column as they are listed by Bodog.com as a -4 point favorite.
Coming off an even lower point are the Miami Dolphins standing at 0-13 SU on the season. There once was a time when Miami could at least keep scores respectable, losing six times by three points but after a 40-13 drubbing by lowly the Jets they followed that up with another horrible performance versus the Buffalo Bills last week losing 38-17. The Dolphins basically cashed this one in early as Buffalo took advantage of two turnovers and three sacks to build a 24-7 lead by the end of the first quarter. Starting QB John Beck was allowed to stay in to attempt 2 passes for 6 yards before being replaced by Cleo Lemon who ended the game 22 of 42 for 241 yards no touchdowns and two interceptions.
If the Dolphins are going to win at least a game this one might have to be the one as they are facing a Baltimore team that is just 4-9 SU & 2-11 ATS this season. Add to it the fact that Baltimore is also1-5 SU & 0-6 ATS on the road this season and 0-7 ATS the L3 seasons as road favorite. But, before you look to Miami to break in the win column keep in mind that they are 0-5 SU & ATS at home. They have had success versus the Ravens however as they are 3-1 SU against them at home while allowing only 9.8 points per game.
The only interest in this one might be to see if Miami breaks into the win column. So are there profits to be made?
