The NFC West's finest will go at it today in a battle for draft positioning. The Seattle Seahawks are in St. Louis today to face the Rams at the Edward Jones Dome in a 1:00pm ET start. NFL Picks at BetUS.com have St. Louis listed as a -2.5 home underdog.
Rams Breakdown: St. Louis, at 2-11, is vying for a top five draft pick at this point, but they would probably like to tack on a few wins nonetheless. Their abysmal record and 0-4 mark in division play has them occupying the NFC West cellar at the moment. They retained their current address last week when the Arizona Cardinals pummeled them 34-10 in the desert.
The Rams 1-5 at the dome this year and their opposition is averaging nearly 28 points per game against them.
Seahawks Breakdown: Seattle is also 2-11 this season, but a head-to-head win against St. Louis back in September has them a slot above the Rams in the West standings. The Seahawks lost a close game at home last weekend against the Patriots (21-24), and extended their current losing streak to six games.
Seattle is 1-5 on the road and also allowing their opposition to visit the end zone on a regualr basis (27.6 points per game allowed in all away games).
NFL Picks Betting Trend: The Seahawks are 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games as a road favorite.
