Let’s take a look at the Top 2 early NFL Week 15 Predictions and compare NFL Point Spreads .

NFL Week 15 PredictionsTop Two NFL Week 14 Predictions Matchups: Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (-5) (O/U-48.5)

The Jaguars (8-5) (3-3 V) are leading the AFC South, one game ahead of Indianapolis, which makes this a pivotal game that can see the Colts miss the playoffs. The Jags have won five of their last six games where they’ve averaged 27.5ppg and given up an average 20.3ppg. They beat the Colts in Week 4 31-28, at home.  The Jags steam rolled the Colts on the ground with 174 yards rushing and they controlled the clock with 46 minutes in the second half, to the Colts 14. The Jaguars are ranked 16th on offense (341ypg) with a 29th ranked pass game (184ypg) and the NFL’s second best ranked ground game (157ypg). TE Marcedes Lewis leads the Jags offense with nine TD’s. The Jags battle the Colts 20th ranked defense (344ypg), their eighth ranked pass rush (203ypg) and their 29th ranked rush defense (141ypg). The Colts give up the 23rd most amount of points per-game (24.5ppg).

The Colts (7-6) (4-2 H) have just two wins in their last six games and one more loss would snap the league's longest active streak of 10-win seasons and playoff appearances at eight straight. In their last six games they’ve averaged 25.6ppg and given up an average 29.3ppg. The Colts offense is ranked fifth best overall (383ypg) with the NFL’s best ranked pass game (304ypg) and the NFL’s worst ranked running game (79ypg). They score the fourth highest amount of points per-game (26.8ppg). Austin Collie leads their offense with six TD’s. The Colts battle the Jaguars 26th ranked defense (371ypg), their 28th ranked pass rush (258ypg) and their 18th ranked rush defense (112ypg). The Jags defense gives up the 25th most amount of points per-game (25.5ppg). Derek Cox has three interceptions for the Jags.

NFL Week 15 Predictions on the Jaguars vs Colts Game: Jaguars +5

New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers (OFF)

The Jets (9-4) (5-1 V) have lost back to back games and have seen the Patriots take off in the AFC East with a two game lead. They have a tough schedule coming up and they might be fighting for a Wild Card berth, instead of top of the AFC East. In their last two losses they’ve averaged 4.5ppg and given up an average 27.5ppg. QB Mark Sanchez has been struggling, throwing five interceptions with one TD, in three games. The Jets offense is ranked 13th overall (349ypg) with a 22nd ranked pass game (206ypg) and the NFL’s fifth best running game (143ypg). They score the 18th highest amount of points per-game (21ppg). Braylon Edwards leads the Jets offense with six TD’s. The Jets face the Steelers fourth ranked defense (293ypg), their 23rd ranked pass rush (232ypg) and the NFL’s best ranked rush defense (60.1ypg). The Steelers give up the second least amount of points per-game (15.2ppg). Troy Polamalu has six interceptions for the Steelers.

The Steelers (10-3) (4-2 H) have won four straight and have a two game lead, in the AFC North, over Baltimore. QB Ben Roethlisberger isn’t putting up huge numbers or dipping and dodging, but he’s getting wins by not throwing interceptions. He’s thrown one interception in four games with four TD’s. Their pass rush will be all over Mark Sanchez and they won’t be able to run against the Steelers best rush defense. The Steelers are ranked 20th on offense (332ypg) with an 18th ranked pass game (212ypg) and a 10th ranked ground game (120ypg). The Steelers score the 15th most points per-game (22.3ppg). Rashard Mendenhall leads their offense with nine TD’s. The Steelers battle the Jets third ranked defense (292ypg), their ninth ranked pass rush (203ypg) and the NFL’s third best ranked rush defense (88.5ypg). The Jets defense allows the sixth least amount of points per-game (18.6ppg).
