The Eagles (9-4) (5-2 V) won in Dallas 30-27, in Week 14, and sit tied atop the NFC East, half a game ahead of the Giants. QB Michael Vick made 16 of 26 passes for 270 yards with two TD’s and he rushed for 16 yards with a TD. Vick threw his fourth interception in 10 starts. RB LeSean McCoy had 16 carries for 149 yards, while DeSean Jackson made four catches for 210 yards with a TD. Todd Herremans added a two yard TD. Their defense had one sack and two interceptions. The Eagles have given up 16 red-zone touchdowns in 20 challenges over the last five games. For the season, they have allowed 28 in 36 opponent trips inside the 20, which is a league-worst 78.8 failure rate. Only five teams have even managed to get to a conference championship game since '98 with a defensive red-zone rate higher than 60 percent. And only one of those five – the '08 Arizona Cardinals – advanced to the Super Bowl.  The Eagles' biggest red-zone problem has been their inability to stop teams through the air inside the 20. Through 12 games, opposing quarterbacks have completed 30 of 45 passes (66.6 percent) for 18 touchdowns against the Eagles inside the 20. The Eagles offense is ranked best overall (402ypg) with a sixth ranked pass game (256ypg) and a fifth ranked running game (146ypg). They score the second most amount of points per-game (28.8ppg). LeSean McCoy leads their offense with nine TD’s. The Eagles go up against the Giants second ranked defense (281ypg), the NFL’s second best ranked pass rush (185ypg) and their fifth ranked rush defense (95ypg). The Giants give up the ninth least amount of points per-game (19.2ppg). Terrell Thomas has five interceptions for the Giants.

The Giants (9-4) (5-2 H) won in Minnesota 21-3, in Week 14. QB Eli Manning completed 22 of 37 passes for 187 yards with one TD and two interceptions. RB Brandon Jacobs had 14 carries for 116 yards with a TD, while RB Ahmad Bradshaw had 11 carries for 103 yards with one TD. WR Hakeem Nicks made seven catches for 96 yards, while TE Kevin Boss made four for 23 yards with a TD. Their defense had four sacks and one interception. The Giants' lineup has suffered yet another massive blow with wide receiver Steve Smith having to undergo season-ending knee surgery. "Steve will not be able to play anymore," coach Tom Coughlin said. "I feel bad for Steve. He fights his way back and then [suffers] this injury. Our entire thoughts for the team are with Steve. First news was it may have been a hamstring or that type of injury." Smith had 48 receptions for 529 yards and three touchdowns after making the Pro Bowl the previous season. Meanwhile, No. 3 receiver Mario Manningham suffered a hip flexor injury against the Vikings on Monday. "He does have an issue," Coughlin said of Manningham. "Hopefully he will make progress and hopefully he will be able to go [in practice] tomorrow." The Giants offense is ranked fourth best overall (385ypg) with a 12th ranked pass game (237ypg) and a fourth ranked running game (148ypg). They score the seventh most amount of points per-game (25.3ppg). Hakeem Nicks leads their offense with nine TD’s. The Giants face the Eagles 11th ranked defense (327ypg), their 17th ranked pass rush (224ypg) and their 11th ranked rush defense (102ypg). The Eagles give up the 20th most amount of points per-game (23.7ppg). Asante Samuel has seven interceptions for the Eagles.
