The Texans (5-8) (2-4 V) lost to Baltimore 28-34 (OT), at home, in Week 14 and will not be in the playoff hunt. QB Matt Schaub made 31 of 62 passes for 393 yards with three TD’s and two interceptions. RB Arian Foster had 20 carries for 100 yards and he made four catches for 25 yards. WR Andre Johnson made nine catches for 140 yards with two TD’s and Jacoby Jones chipped in with a TD. Their defense got five sacks and no interceptions. Houston has the chance to sweep Tennessee for just the second time since the Texans began play in 2002. WR Andre Johnson goes up against the Titans CB Cortland Finnegan in the “rematch” after both were ejected after fighting in their last meeting. Instead of punches and helmets being yanked off, look for a face-to-face apology with no retaliation. Quick jamming probably is out, too, just to be safe. "Just clear the air. Let everybody know no hard feelings. Let's just play football," Finnegan said Wednesday. Mario Williams, the Houston defensive end who went to the last two Pro Bowls, is out for the rest of the season. Williams has started every game in his career, 77 straight. He has 28 tackles, 8½ sacks and a forced fumble this season. Tim Jamison, who has appeared in seven games this season, will get the majority of playing time in place of Williams, but Kubiak said a combination of people will fill his role. The Texans offense is ranked sixth overall (381ypg) with a seventh ranked pass game (252ypg) and the NFL’s seventh best running game (129ypg). They score the ninth most points per-game (24.3ppg). Arian Foster leads the Texans offense with 15 TD’s. The Texans go up against the Titans 24th ranked defense (364ypg), their 26th ranked pass rush (244ypg) and their 21st ranked rush defense (120ypg). The Titans allow the 12th least points per-game (20.4ppg). Micheal Griffin has four interceptions for the Titans.

The Titans (5-8) (2-5 H) lost to Indianapolis 28-30, at home, in Week 14. QB Kerry Collins completed 28 of 39 passes for 244 yards with three TD’s and no interceptions. RB Chris Johnson had 22 carries for 111 yards with a TD and he made eight catches for 68 yards, while TE Bo Scaife added two TD’s and TE Criag Stevens added one TD. Their defense had one sack and no interceptions. The Titans have placed defensive tackle Tony Brown on injured reserve because of a knee injury. Brown had surgery in the offseason on his right knee as he rehabilitated and missed most of the preseason. The past few weeks, he has been playing despite not being able to practice. He started 11 games but was inactive for two with 3½ sacks and 10 quarterback pressures. The Titans offense is ranked 28th overall (297ypg) with a 30th ranked pass game (184ypg) and a 14th ranked running game (113ypg). RB Chris Johnson leads their offense with 10 TD’s. They score the 15th most amount of points per-game (22.4ppg). The Titans square off against the Texans 29th ranked defense (378ypg), the NFL’s worst ranked pass rush (279ypg) and their sixth ranked rush defense (98ypg). The Texans give up the 30th most amount of points per-game (27.3ppg).
