The Bills (5-9) lost to New England 10-17 at home in Week 15 and are out of the playoffs. QB Ryan Fitzgerald made 17 of 25 passes for 178 yards with one TD and an interception; overall he’s thrown for 1,267 yards with six TD’s and 10 interceptions for a 63.3passer rating. QB Trent Edwards was inserted into Sunday’s game in the fourth quarter when he replaced an ineffective Fitzpatrick. RB Fred Jackson had 15 carries for 80 yards, while WR Josh Reed made four catches for 63 yards. WR LEE Evans added their lone TD. The Bills O-line allowed six sacks for a total 41 yard loss. Both Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick suffered ankle injuries in Sunday’s loss to New England. Their status is day-to-day, as the coaching staff waits to see how the two signal callers recover between now and the middle of the week. If both Fitzpatrick and Edwards are unable to practice Wednesday it will likely force the Bills to turn to third string QB Brian Brohm , signed just a month ago off of Green Bay’s practice squad. Regardless who’s at the helm the Bills have bad offense. They have a 29th ranked pass game and a 17th ranked running game. They should be able to get some passes in against the Falcons 30th ranked pass defense. The Bills have averaged 13ppg and allowed 15.3ppg in their last three games. They are 3-4 SU on the road where they average 16.9ppg and give up an average22ppg.They are 7-7 ATS and 5-9 over/under.

The Falcons (7-7) won in NY Jets 10-7 and sit second in the NFC South with a slim chance at a Wild Card spot. QB Matt Ryan made 16 of 34 passes for 152 yards with one TD; overall he’s thrown for 2,443 yards with 17 TD’s and 12 interceptions. RB Jason Snelling had 16 carries for 59 yards, while WR Jerious Norwood made two catches for 47 yards. TE Tony Gonzalez caught the lone TD. Their defense pulled down three interceptions and had two sacks on the day. The Falcons started off strong but since their bye week 4 they’ve struggled on offense and defense. They are ranked 15th at the pass, thanks to WR Roddy White’s 948 yards receiving and eight TD’s, and they’ll be up against the Bills third ranked pass defense that has Safety Jairus Byrd with nine interceptions . RB Michael Turner leads the Falcons 20th ranked ground game with 871 yards rushing and 10 TD’s and he must to move the chains against the Bills league worst rush defense. The Falcons have averaged 13.3ppg and allowed 22.3ppg in their last three games. They are 5-2 SU at home where they average 21.3ppg and allow 19.3ppg. They are 9-5 ATS and 7-7 over/under.
