Last wee the 49ers snapped a two game losing streak as they beat Cincinnati 20-13. The win however left them at only 4-10 SU on the season and will give them their fifth losing season in a row. The 49er offense easily ranks as the worst in the league averaging only 4.6 passing yards per attempt but last week got a bit of a spark from third string QB Shaun Hill who passed for 197 and a touchdown in his first career start. The 49ers also got a good game out of RB Frank Gore as he ran for a season high 138 yards. But it was the San Francisco defense that grabbed the spot light as they gave up only 61 yards on the ground. The 49ers' defense was able to hold Cincinnati to only 13 points after giving up 27 points or more in each of its previous three games.
The Bucs have struggled on the road late in the season as they are 9-17 ATS in their L26 road games in December. They’ve also struggled against poor passing offenses going just 3-12 ATS in their L15 versus teams averaging less than 5.2 passing yards per attempt.
