All the Broncos had to do was win one of their last two games and they would have locked up the AFC West title and a trip to the playoffs. All the Chargers needed to do was lose one of their last two games and they would have assured themselves of a January vacation. As a result of Denver's refusal to win and San Diego's refusal to lose, NFL fans will be treated to a Sunday night do or die, winner take all playoff situation for both clubs.
Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5, O/U 42.5):
The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles have both flirted with greatness this season, but they have also courted ineptitude. The latter has both teams on the outside looking in at the playoffs, but still within reach should they win and, in the case of the Eagles, receive a little help. Neither team helped their cause this past weekend as the Cowboys lost 24-33 at home to the Ravens and the Eagles fell 3-10 on the road in Washington D.C.
Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets (-2.5, O/U 42):
New York looked to have the AFC East title all but locked up a few weeks ago, now they need a win and some help to clinch the division. The Jets are in third place in the standings at 9-6 thanks to a 3-13 loss this Sunday to the Seahawks. New York can grab a playoff spot with a win over the Dolphins and either a New England or Baltimore loss. Miami, now in the top spot in the East, clinches the division with a win against New York.
