The Giants (9-6) (4-3 V) lost in Green Bay 17-45, in Week 16, and have the slimmest chance of making the playoffs. QB Eli Manning completed 17 of 33 passes for 301 yards with two TD’s and four interceptions. RB Brandon Jacobs had eight carries for 47 yards, while RB Ahmad Bradshaw had 12 carries for 31 yards. WR Mario Manningham made four catches for 132 yards with a TD. WR Hakeem Nicks made four catches for 93 yards with a TD. Their defense had one sack and no interceptions. The Giants lost assurance of a playoff spot and with the way they finished against Philadelphia and had it negatively carry over against the Packers, this is a very dangerous game for them. And to make things worse, WR Hakeem Nicks is likely to miss the regular-season finale because of a broken big toe on his left foot. Nicks leads the Giants in receptions (79), receiving yards (1,052) and touchdown catches (11). The Giants need to beat or tie the Redskins in Washington and have the Packers lose to Chicago in Green Bay to make the playoffs. A Giants tie, Green Bay loss and Tampa Bay loss also would get New York to the postseason. The Giants offense is ranked third best overall (384ypg) with a ninth ranked pass game (242ypg) and a fifth ranked running game (141ypg). They score the ninth most amount of points per-game (25.1ppg). Hakeem Nicks leads their offense with 11 TD’s. The Giants face the Redskins worst ranked defense (397ypg), the NFL’s second worst ranked pass rush (263ypg) and their 27th ranked rush defense (134ypg). The Redskins defense allows the 23rd most amount of points per-game (24.5ppg). CB DeAngelo Hall leads the Skins defense with six interceptions.

The Redskins (6-9) (2-5 H) won in Jacksonville 20-17 (OT), in Week 16, but are out of the playoffs. QB Rex Grossman made 25 of 43 passes for 322 yards with four TD’s and two interceptions. RB Ryan Torain had 11 carries for 53 yards and five catches for 48 yards with a TD. WR Santana Moss made eight catches for 72 yards with two TD’s and TE Chris Cooley made five catches for 62 yards with a TD. Their defense had two sacks and no interceptions. Washington played without several defensive starters, including linebacker Brian Orakpo and safeties Reed Doughty and Kareem Moore, and lost cornerback Carlos Rogers during the game. It didn't matter. The Redskins stuffed the Jaguars' running game, pressured Garrard and came up big when it mattered most. If they can do that to the Jags they can do it to the Giants, especially at home. CB Carlos Rogers hopes his nagging sore calf won't sideline him on Sunday. Rogers intercepted Jaguars quarterback David Garrard on Jacksonville's initial possession to set up the Redskins' first touchdown. It was Rogers' second interception of the season, to go along with 54 total tackles. The Redskins offense is ranked 17th overall (338ypg) with a ninth ranked pass game (244ypg) and a 28th ranked ground game (93ypg). Santana Moss leads their offense with six TD’s. The Redskins battle the Giants sixth ranked defense (305ypg), their eighth ranked pass rush (202ypg) and their 11th ranked rush defense (103ypg). The Giants give up the 17th most amount of points per-game (22.2ppg). Terrell Thomas has five interceptions for the Giants.
