The Colts, the 2007 Super Bowl champs, are the third team on the oddsmakers radar at 7 to 1 NFL odds, but you can bet that the general public is going to be all over Peyton Manning and company even with the hits they took to the defense and how tough it is to make it two years in a row. The Chargers made a lot of changes to their coaching staff and they were rewarded at 5 to 1 odds, moving them just ahead of the Peyton Manning’s Colts and Tom Brady’s Patriots in terms of chances of winning the NFL's championship.
The AFC is getting all of the attention with the Bengals being another team considered a favorite to make it to the big game. Other teams with chances of making the playoffs and scoring a chance to take on the NFC champs are the Steelers, Bengals, Broncos, and Ravens.
As far as who the AFC champs will be playing, the odds makers are giving the best chances to Seattle, Carolina, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New Orleans. Almost all of the teams that made it to last year's playoffs will once again be favored to make it again, and the odds makers are giving a great shot to the Bears to repeat as Super Bowl contenders.
