Michael Vick is not the only NFL quarterback with off the field distractions going into the pre-season, Matt Leinart of the Arizona Cardinals has his fair share going on right now. Leinart is embroiled in a nasty legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, Brynn Cameron.
Cameron is asking for more than $30K a month in child support from the NFL quarterback. Matt Leinart signed a six-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals in 2006 reportedly worth around $51 million. The former USC Trojans star has been romantically linked to Paris Hilton, Kristen Cavallari & Britney Spears.
According to Point-Spreads.com sources, Matt's a little pissed since he has already been shelling out approximately 6k per month and bought Brynn a vehicle. Leinart is set to wage a strong custody battle for the couple's 9-month-old son Cole. Both parents are scheduled to make a court appearance on August 13th, 2007. Sportsbook.com has the Arizona Cardinals as a 40 to 1odds long shot to win Super Bowl XLII.
Besides the custody battle, which is sure to cause a distraction this season, Matt has landed a role in the new Adam Sandler project. Brynn has already complained to the Ventura County Star that Leinart's "Hollywood stuff" is taking his focus away from being a good parent and that "It's kind of hard for me as the mom … he comes and goes whenever he wants."
