Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington will be the grounds for the NFC West confrontation between the 5-3 Seattle Seahawks and the 4-4 St. Louis Rams. Seattle is playing its second home game in a row and hopes to defeat their one game behind West Rivals.
Seattle hosts a football game for the second time in a week without their star running back Shaun Alexander or quarter back Matt Hasselbeck. The Rams are missing defensive unit leader weak-side linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa. Pisa has been on the sideline, nursing an injured hand and elbow. There is a great chance he could be back for this match up. If so, expect the Rams defense to tighten up and get them back in the race.

The Seahawks are coming from a home game on Monday Night where they shut out the worst offense in the league, the 2-6 Oakland Raiders. Craig Terrill had three of Seattle's nine sacks on Andrew Walter. While running back Maurice Morris ran 30 times for a career-high 138 yards to help the Seahawks end a two-game skid with a 16-0 victory over the Raiders.

Deion Branch caught a 22 yard pass from Seneca Wallace, who has added both throwing and running plays to the Seahawks offensive. Kicker Josh Brown added three field goals to make it a 16-0 final. In a game where the Raiders demonstrated why they are the worst offense in the league. In a game where the Raiders demonstrated why they are the worst offense in the league if not the worse team in the NFL.
The St. Louis Rams got caught from the beginning with a 17 point deficit which they never shortened. The Chiefs defense forced three early turnovers against a team that stresses ball security, and Kansas City capitalized to get an early jump start. Larry Johnson rushed for 172 yards on 27 carries, including a 1-yard score for his fifth touchdown in two weeks. He later ran a 45-yarder when the Chiefs were backed up in the second quarter; and a 16-yarder that set up a field goal.

Tony Gonzalez caught two touchdown passes breaking Otis Taylor's franchise career mark. Damon Huard was mistake-free again, going 10-for-15 for 148 yards and three touchdowns. The third was caught by Kris Wilson in the fourth quarter to end the game.
Since the early scoring by the Chiefs, this was a game of catch-up for the Rams. They closed to 24-17 on Kevin Curtis' 2-yard catch late in the third quarter before the Chiefs answered with Huard's 11-yard pass reception to Kris Wilson. Kevin Curtis was later taken to a hospital for observation after a blow to the ribs from Sammy Knight on a meaningless 23-yard catch near the Kansas City sideline.
The Rams passing and running game have been mediocre at best and they have relied abundantly on their defense, which by not being at maximum health has not helped the team take a win in its last two tests. Although Pisa Tinoisamoa might be back to lead the Rams defense this Sunday, we can expect the Seattle to walk away with another win.
Seattle is -3 and we like the home team, total is 44. That we leave to you. Good luck.
