Steve McNair returns to TennesseeRavens Revival!!

Steve McNair is the (2-6) Tennessee Titans' all-time leader in completion percentage and passer rating. He also holds the record of second in passing yards (27,141) and third in touchdown passes (156). The Air McNair admitted his emotions should be running high until kick off on Sunday. Others believe McNair will be highly motivated to beat the Titans primarily because of the way the team treated the long-time face of the franchise.

The old Oilers were able to let him go after drafting Vince Young as their quarterback of the future. McNair got a new contract with a new team with a better chance of making a playoff run. He actually gained there. McNair has also enjoyed revival with the (6-2) Baltimore Ravens, who are equally grateful of having him bring reliability. The consistency required of an offense that has finally relieved some of the pressure off their veteran defense.

McNair completed 21 of 31 passes for 245 yards as Baltimore opened a two-game lead in the AFC North with a 26-20 victory over Cincinnati last Sunday. Jamal Lewis rushed for a touchdown as the Ravens preserved their offensive consistency for a second straight game. McNair's numbers are nothing special for Baltimore, with seven touchdowns, seven interceptions but he has guided the team on two game-winning drives with less than 2:00 remaining in the game.

Ravens offense has five touchdowns in the last two games after producing 10 in the first six. Lewis has revived as a workhorse running back the last two games, getting 55 carries for 181 yards. After coming off a career-low 906 yards last season, he has 533 in Baltimore's eight games. Even if the Titans hold their former leader in check, they'll have a tough time beating the Ravens, who are 6-2 atop the NFC North.

Titans Vince Young continues to have an uneven rookie season. He is coming off his worst performance as a starter, completing just 15 of 36 passes for 163 yards and getting intercepted three times in Tennessee's 27-7 loss at Jacksonville last Sunday. Baltimore's defense has collected 17 interceptions. The Ravens have also recovered all seven fumbles they forced.

The three interceptions nearly doubled Young’s season total, and the Titans were limited to 262 total yards. Coach Fisher is hoping his receivers, who dropped numerous passes in the loss, can regroup and help Young out this weekend.

Defensively, the Titans will have cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones back in the lineup after he served a one-game suspension for a series of off-field incidents. While the Titans allowed only 177 yards passing, Jones' teammates felt his absence was exploited as the Jaguars picked on his backup, Andre Woolfolk.

We love the road favorite here. Baltimore Ravens -7 all the way baby. We have a feeling this will be a game the defense will set up for the offense, who comes in with “blood in the eye”. The total, hmmm it’s a guess but the gut says under 37½.
