We finally saw some stability at the top two positions, but everything else was turned upside down. We kick off several unworthy teams from last week’s list and promoted one that used to be in the top five many, many weeks ago (Eagles). Meanwhile, we have once again vaulted the Giants back onto the list. Will it be short lived once again?
Rank (PVR) Team Reason
1 1 Chargers They are the best all round team in the NFL right now and there is no disputing it by anyone. San Diego is the definition of money.
2 2 Bears If Rex Grossman can merely be average the rest of the season then Chicago fans will be ecstatic.
3 3 Ravens Baltimore has everything working right now and there’s a possibility they’re going to be even sharper by playoff time. We like this team’s chances if Ray Lewis is healthy.
4 t4 Colts That run defense is brutal and just can’t in good conscience recommend Indianapolis as a team to bet on when they play contending teams ahead of them on this list.
5 6 Saints Okay, no more doubting them. No more making excuses for not making New Orleans a top five team. In Drew we trust.

6 8 Bengals Next to SD, the hottest team in the league. If they can win on Monday night, we would have to consider them a Super Bowl-caliber team.
7 5 Cowboys A blip on the Romo radar in Week 14 isn’t a big deal if they win in Atlanta this Sunday. Dallas has to start winning the must win games.
8 9 Jaguars Yes, they got a big win against their arch rivals the Colts. However, can they actually put together a winning streak of some sort?
9 t4 Patriots They laid an egg in Miami last week. But you know what happens every time you count this team out, don’t you? Be wary of betting them on the money line against good teams until they get back on track offensively.
10 7 Seahawks We’ve downgraded them after a win for tough love. Seattle is better than this and the rest of the league knows it. But will they show it?
11 - Giants Will this be the last week they appear on this list, or will they cement their place finally with a big win? A pivotal week for the G-Men.
12 - Eagles Jeff Garcia has not thrown an interception and are impressed. If that defensive line can tighten up then they’ll really be in business.
Honorable Mentions
Atlanta (The pressure is squarely on Vick with a banged up running game), Chiefs (Guys, play some defense on the road!), Broncos (We expected their fall, but they’ll be better for it in 2007), Jets (See? We knew they didn’t belong on the list!).
