Justin Leonard finished fifth at the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship. He had one win, one second place finish and eight top 10 finishes last year. He came in second at the 2008 Bob Hope Classic, losing to Trahan. He currently ranks 96th in scoring average on the PGA Tour.
