Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk and Padraig Harrington are all in the field. This tournament is held on three different courses throughout the first three days, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Poppy Hills Golf Course and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. The final round is played on Pebble Beach. Vijay Singh will be making his first start since undergoing knee surgery after the Mercedes-Benz Championship, where he finished T-27. Last year Vijay had three wins on tour, two second place finishes and one third place finish. Vijay lost in a playoff last year to Steve Lowery. Vijay Singh is listed at 14/1 odds to win.

Phil Mickelson hasn’t gotten off to a good start this year. He finished T-42 at the Buick Invitational and he failed to make the cut at his home town tourney the FBR Open. Phil is a three time winner at Pebble Beach, he won in 1998 (54 holes), 2005 and 2007. In 2007 Phil tied Mark O’Meara for the lowest score over four rounds, he finished -20. He currently ranks 3rd in career earnings on the PGA tour. Phil Mickelson is listed at 14/1 odds to win.

Padraig Harrington was the PGA Major winner in 2008, he won the British Open, back to back, and he won the PGA Championship. This year he’s entered one tourney which was the Buick Invitational where he finished T-24. Padraig was named PGA Player of the Year in 2007-08 and European Tour Player of the Year in 2007-08. Padraig Harrington is listed at 14/1 odds to win.

Jim Furyk is making his first start of the season. This might be the longest non-injury layoff Jim has had. He had one second place finish in 2008, with two second place finishes and two third place finishes. He finish third at last year’s AT@T National Pro-Am. Jim Furyk is listed at 16/1 odds to win.

Davis Love III has two AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am victories in 2001 and 2003, Davis Love III has five other top-10 finishes at Pebble Beach in his storied career. Davis Love III is listed at 25/1 odds to win.
