Masters Odds 2010: One of the most anticipated Masters Tournaments of all time is set to take place this week at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia. The first major of the 2010 season features the return of golf's biggest star, Tiger Woods. Woods has not played in a PGA sanctioned event since finishing second at THE TOUR Championship in September of last year. Despite the personal scandal he has been involved in and his lack of golf activity, Masters Odds 2010 at Sportsbook.com have Woods listed as a +350 moneyline favorite to win this weekend's event.
Tiger Woods embroiled himself and both professional and personal controversy when he crashed his SUV in November of 
last year. The accident led to the revelation of Woods scandalous personal life, which almost derailed his marriage and threatened to eliminate his numerous advertising sponsers. However, Woods appears to have emerged from the dark side, at least on a personal level. Now he will get an opportunity to show how the time away has affected his golf game, if at all.
Woods last played competitively at the World Golf Championship-HSBC Champions event in November, but he has historically performed exceptionally well at Augusta. The California native won his first major at the legendary venue in 1997 and he has since taken the Green Jacket on three other occasions (2001, 2002, 2005). Woods tied for sixth at last year's Master with an eight under par score of 280.
Other favorites in the season's inaugural major include two time Masters champ Phil Mickelson at +900 odds, Ernie Els at +1000 odds, Padraig Harrington at +1500 odds, and Steve Stricker at +2000 odds.
The Masters is scheduled to get underway this Thursday, April, 8th; the opening rounds will be televised on ESPN while Saturday and Sunday's action can be seen live on CBS. Pairings for the event will be announced tomorrow.
